About Us
Our Family History
The Coblentz brothers – Bryan, Jeff, Merl, Joel and Jamie – are the driving force behind a company shaped by nearly 50 years of family tradition and dedication. Their grandfather, Levi Coblentz, brought forth the original vision, while their father, Robert Coblentz, helped grow it from the start, guiding it into the thriving operation it is today.
Together, the brothers work to honor that legacy, overseeing MAVIN Timber, MAVIN Pallet and MAVIN Furniture with the same passion and commitment to quality that has guided their family for generations.
At the heart of everything they do is a shared purpose: to honor God and enrich the lives they touch through the products they produce and the relationships they inspire. Each brother plays a vital role in maintaining the company’s high standards, whether through sustainable forestry practices, precision craftsmanship or a commitment to exceptional customer service. They are united by a vision to create the highest quality products on earth, while also leaving the earth a better place for future generations.
The Coblentz brothers lead by example, blending innovation with integrity to ensure that every product meets the demands of their customers and the values of their family. As a family-owned business, they take pride in their responsibility as stewards of the resources they manage and the relationships they build. Together, they carry on the legacy of excellence and integrity, ensuring their work continues to inspire and make a lasting impact.

Legacy Timeline
MAVIN began in 1975 with a simple logging company and an idea from a simple man. Founded with the intention to create a better future for generations to come, Levi Coblentz thought to start a new endeavor in the timber industry. Robert Coblentz, Levi’s son, having experience with woodworking, expanded on his father’s idea and began building and selling industrial shipping pallets. Years later, the company expanded into fine furniture and flooring.
Nearly 40 years of experience and our in-depth knowledge of the industry allows us to select with precision the healthiest and most unique timber to ensure the most authentic chair, table or cabinet. Our company thrives on the utilization of each piece of timber when harvesting. The ultimate goal when harvesting is to select the finest grades and colors for our furniture product line. The excess materials are then transformed into industrial pallets, landscaping mulch and shavings are even sent to local paper companies for processing.
