• Automation Technician

  Role and Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of existing building management and industrial automation systems.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new industrial automation projects and systems.
  • Assist in the design, installation, and configuration of control systems, including PLCs, HMI, Robotics, and SCADA.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of automation systems.
  • Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, upgrades, and modifications.
  • Provide training and support to operators and maintenance staff on the proper use and maintenance of automation equipment.

  Additional Requirements

  • Background in Industrial Electricity, Industrial Automation, or related field.
  • Proficiency in electrical control circuits and wiring.
  • An understanding of PLCs, ladder logic programming, and industrial controls.
  • Familiarity with computer programming concepts (e.g., C++, Python) is a plus.
  • Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

  – Utilize scripting languages and tools such as MATLAB for modeling and simulation purposes.

  – Oversee research initiatives to drive technological advancements within the organization.
  – Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout all engineering processes.
  – Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on technical issues.
