Automation Technician

Role and Responsibilities
-Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of existing building management and industrial automation systems.
-Assist in the development and implementation of new industrial automation projects and systems.
-Assist in the design, installation, and configuration of control systems, including PLCs, HMI, Robotics, and SCADA.
-Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of automation systems.
-Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, upgrades, and modifications.
-Provide training and support to operators and maintenance staff on the proper use and maintenance of automation equipment.

Additional Requirements

-Background in Industrial Electricity, Industrial Automation, or related field.
-Proficiency in electrical control circuits and wiring.
-An understanding of PLCs, ladder logic programming and industrial controls.
-Familiarity with computer programming concepts (e.g., C++, Python) is a plus.
-Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
