Chair Parts Sanding
We’re looking for detail-oriented individuals to join our Chair Sanding team. Both full-time and part-time positions are available. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in creating smooth, quality finishes. You’ll help prep chair parts for finishing by sanding and inspecting each piece to meet industry standards.

What We’re Looking For:
- Reliable, hardworking, and attentive to detail
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and standing for long periods
- Prior woodwork or sanding experience is a plus, but not required
- Willing to learn and take feedback
Case Sanding
We’re looking for detail-oriented individuals to join our Case Parts Sanding team. Both full-time and part-time positions are available. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in creating smooth, quality finishes. You’ll help prep chair parts for finishing by sanding and inspecting each piece to meet industry standards.

Finishing Department
Join our Finishing Department, where the final details bring our handcrafted furniture to life. We’re looking for reliable, detail-oriented individuals to apply stains, sealers, and finishes to our product, ensuring each piece meets our high-quality standards.

What We’re Looking For:
- Apply stains and finishes accurately
- Inspect each piece for color consistency and finish quality
- Perform touch-ups and corrections when needed
- Work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Warehouse
We’re looking for hands-on, detail-focused individuals to join our Warehouse Team where the final stages of our handcrafted furniture come together. This role involves final assembly, light sanding, touch-ups, hardware installation, and product prep for shipment.

What We’re Looking For:
- Good eye for detail and quality
- Comfortable using hand tools and performing light assembly work
- Ability to lift and move furniture pieces (30–75 lbs.)
- Team player with a strong work ethic
Dimension Mill
Join our team in the Dimension Mill, where raw lumber is processed into high-quality parts for handcrafted furniture. We’re looking for reliable individuals to assist with sorting, stacking, and organizing cut lumber to keep production moving smoothly and efficiently.

What We’re Looking For:
- Sort cut wood parts by size, species, and quality
- Stack lumber neatly and safely in designated areas
- Assist machine operators by clearing tables and organizing carts
- Perform visual inspections for defects or damage

Jimmy Bowman

Engineering | 16 Years at MAVIN

With over 16 years at MAVIN, Jimmy Bowman has become a cornerstone of our engineering and product development efforts. He oversees CNC machine programming and CAD development for both new and existing products and is recognized as one of MAVIN’s go-to experts for Acumatica, BOMs, and ERP product line data. Jimmy’s attention to detail and systems-driven thinking make him a trusted resource across multiple departments.

His supervisor notes that Jimmy exemplifies stewardship in everything he does, owning accuracy and consistency across product lines, machine programs, design, and backend ERP data. When the team faced a major challenge configuring product data for Acumatica, Jimmy leveraged his deep knowledge to lead the way, personally performing a large portion of the work. Thanks to his leadership and commitment, the project was completed months ahead of schedule.

What Jimmy enjoys most about working at MAVIN is being part of a great group of people who all have the same goal in mind. He also finds deep satisfaction in operating and programming the incredible machines we use every day, something he counts among his favorite work memories.

Described as steady, systems-minded, technical, and someone who genuinely cares about people and the work, Jimmy is not only a master of his craft but also a valued teammate.

Outside of work, Jimmy enjoys the simple things—fishing, golfing, and spending time with others. His consistency, innovation, and deep product understanding help power our success and we’re lucky to have him on the team.
